Casual Abstinence is a rock and roll band that was born in the bowels of a basement in Skokie
Illinois in 1989.
Re-formed in 2021, Casual Abstinence has been entertaining audiences playing mostly 70s,
80s, and 90s rock from our favorite bands with a twist. Our mission is to get people moving and
singing along.
Casual Abstinence performs at a variety of venues and events, from local clubs to
festivals, and back-yard parties. Whether we're playing a crowd-pleasing hit or a lesser-known
gem, our goal is always the same: to bring joy and energy to every performance to entertain
you!
